He has not received a single admit as yet. The funny thing is that OSU is one of the lowest ranked universities in his list. His ambitious bets include UCB, Stan, UIUC, UCLA and UCSD along with a bunch of other top univs.
FYI, his jaw dropping profile is:
GRE: 1530, TOEFL: 293, GPA: approx. 3.8, 1 paper at some international conference on Image processing, 2 national level papers at IEEE Conferences
It might not be top notch according to UCB's standards but I think OSU has made a major mistake by rejecting him.
