I’m another lurker, who has been checking out parts of the forum for a while, trying to get an idea for the process of preparing for the GRE. Well, I’m finally starting to prepare for the actual exam, and I thought it would be helpful to join these forums both as a motivational factor and as a helpful resource.

As of now I’m starting to prepare for the verbal section, and I’m wondering, what are the question sources to test my knowledge of the vocabulary that I am learning. Any help would be much appreciated. I currently have the Barron’s GRE book (no cd) and the Kaplan vocab prep. I’ll probably pick up some other sources as well. I was considering picking up the big book, but it is to hard to locate a copy at a decent price, so I’ll probably stick to other prep sources.
