Hee hee :o ...this was the first thing I checked for too when I read your post, ShalomFang. I appreciate you commenting on other people's essays too. We might have different philosophies on editing essays though. Sometimes I believe that if the essay writer did not put some hard work and thinking into the first draft, no matter how many times it's edited, it still may not be good. It might sound polished but it may not be what the essay writer really wanted to express. I've read many essays and found that some people just need some help on grammar and maybe sentence structure, and some people need you to sit with them and figure out what exactly they are trying to say because what they wrote was not really what they wanted to say. Anyway, I still stand that whoever wants my help also needs to tell me exactly what the direction/format is and what their expectations are, but I'm willing to help. Maybe it's also a pride thing, because I always want the papers I've proofread to get them the A's or get them into a school.
