Nothing particular amongst them. After getting into the GMAT groove for a while you will realize that you need to put up your own strategy. Everything is unique with a person . For eg though lot many Earthlings recommmended takign medicine, juice, chocolate etc during test time to maintain the stamina, I decided against it as i never used them in any of my practice test as these things would have made GMAT appear larger than wht it is!
Never had any KAPLAN book, though i went through KAPLAN CD and workshop. KAPLAN workshop is pretty good for maths. Tells you in detail how to pick numbers, back solving, etc You will find the links to workshop on page 8 of this thread. Princeton is good to grasp the basic of verbal especially SC.
However, practice does make a difference. I must have given more than 30 tests.. learnt that though I was imprving in everything else, my reading comprehension hit rate dropped. SO decided to work on it and my way on working on it was NOT TO WORK on it.
and not to forget - play GMAT to your strength.
