In the following sentance ...
My Siamese cat moved across the floor just like a lion stalking its prey.
Can we say that "just like" looks better because, "lion stalking its pray" is drawing a similarity between the first part and the later.
And as a clarification to summarize, "as" is used whenever we compare clauses (sub & verb) on both side and "like" is used if noun is compared
