Hi everyone,
I posted this message on admission result forum but I do not get any response. Probably, I posted at the wrong forum. I repost it again in this forum. Maybe, someone has information that I ask. Thank you very much.

My son received three letters of acceptance of undergraduate admission to College of Art and Science for Fall 2006. Actually, all colleges mentioned that they would give the result around early April. We are also waiting for other universities until April 2006. He plans to attend a medical school after four years of his undergraduate school . He is an international student.

Here are the results until yesterday.

1. University of Illinois -Urbana-Champaign
How is it?

2. University of MO-Columbia

3. Saint Louis University. - with 4 years of Dean Scholarship.($11,000 x 4 years = $44,000)

What other criteria should he consider to select university he should attend? Ranking? Is ranking reliable? I look at US news ranking but I am not sure it is reliable. Or should we make a decision by other factors?

Many people suggest that getting a scholarship will make you look better when you apply to a medical school. Is that true?
