You are "racing the clock" so to speak as your progressing age will start to become a factor in the admissions process. It looks like you will have to make a judgement call on the importance of financial aid versus ranking and prestige.
You are not going to be assured of large scholarships at a top 30-50 school. I'd probably advise you to apply to both types of schools and then evaluate your options in the spring. You can also consider public schools if the money is that important to you. Chances are you will be able to repay any debt you take on upon graduation, assuming you attend a good school.
