I think in this case you could do one of two things.

1. Just leave it alone if you think it might hurt your chances by brining it up. However, if your self-reported transcripts show a GPA of x, and your official show a GPA of y, then they will most likely follow through with their policy, as you mentioned. This is probably a chance you do not want to take.

2. The better option would be to contact the admissions committee and tell them what you overlooked. Seeing that this was a GE class that you took in the summer, it was probably easy to forget.

I guess the thing to go on is to make sure things are complete and accurate, so I would suggest either you email or call the ad com to tell them what you overlooked. Personally, I do not think you will have a big problem.
