HI Guys,
I am a 3rd year student and I obviously want to get a PhD in econ lol. My research interests lie in macroecon...international monetary econ to be specific But I was wondering what my math prep should be for a person interested in macroecon specifically. This semester im taking Linear Programming and Differential Equations I. Next semester Real Analysis I and Non Linear Optimization. In my fourth year I'll be taking Complex Analysis I and Dynamic Programming. I have one space to take an extra math course...I was wondering what should I fill it with.
This year I'm taking the Intermediate Macro,Micro and Stats courses and next year the advanced versions of each of these 3 courses. My econ electives next year will be International Econ, Financial Econ and Public Econ... Hope you can help
