No, it's not a bad school, but it's not well regarded, unfortunately.
Depending on your stats, you may be able to get into one of those CSU's, especially if you have good work experience. I know more about the Northern California CSU's, of course, but I had a couple students go to Southern California because they couldn't get into the CSU's here in Northern California.
You do know that the the CSU's are generally looking for over 20%ile in the verbal section of the GMAT, right?
