The productivity incresed because workers get the enough space. Previously, they were working in a room which was meant for 65 people. So the factor responsible for increasing the productivity is adequate space not the study.

Please check the red portion the size of the original room is not mentioned in the argument; however, shifting people (irrespective of original size of the workroom) does result in more space per person in that room.
