Edit: I just got an email from SFU (a generic one) that i've been admitted. i'm guessing they do MAs first before reviewing PhDs..

nevena: did they tell you anything about TAship/funding of any kind? mine just said to "please pay 100$ deposit if you are going to accept" or something like that.

i know SFU isn't as well known as UBC (esp. in this forum) but i was told by my profs it is still a very good school and i would love to get the hell out of Ontario...
