Hello guys
I am considering to take GMAT in early october. i havent prepared anything for it till now, but last year i prepared for gre and got 2200 ( verbal-710 ( 97%ile) maths-780 ( 92 % ile ) Analytical - 710 ( 85 %ile).
i know comparing two exams could be preposterous but with a good backround in MATHS, reasoning and reading comprehension , i hope to put a good show. i just need to prepare systematically for which i need suggestions from all you 700+ achievers. iam told there is powerprep, kaplan and ets book ,which are essential and most of the ppl do prepare from them. then there is princeton and arco.
iam pretty confident in critical reasoning ( i did 8/9 correct in gre) ,reading comprehension ( 7/8 correct ) and maths. the only thing which scares me, is sentence correction. i checked some questions from barrons and found it will take some time before i start getting hold on them. how should i prepare for them?is it essential to go through all the grammatical details found in our high school books? or i should just go through rules and tips given in barrons, kaplan etc.
i am told that one encounters sufficient no of SC's in GMAT and poor performance in them could seriously mar one's score.
apart from that please suggest proper course of action considering i have less than 2 months to prepare. during my gre experience i realized that i unnecessarily studied some books which only wasted my time . i dont want to repeat that in gmat. so suggest only those books,cd etc which will help me. also suggest how to prepare for AWA.
iam based in india . can any indian reading this suggest, where could i find xerox of ets book in delhi
