The correct answer is D.

I totally agree that E infact supports the arguement.

After reading edverybody's feedback..I kind of reread the argument again and this is what I understand...correct me if i am wrong.
The argument basically says that the writer visited hotels throughout the country and noticed that those built before 1930 the quality of the original carpentry work is generally superior to that in hotels built afterward.

Clearly carpenters working on hotels before 1930 typically worked with more skill, care, and effort than carpenters who have worked on hotels built
subsequently.

so since the writer is comparing few of the buildings with the present day one..it seems that most of those old buildings are demolished now and this kind of falls in lieu with the D which implies that if the buildings were good...less likely that they would have been demolished.

WEll The key thing is I understand it now.....Thanks Everybody...
