Hi,
I just wanted to share something in line with this topic.
My cousin applied in an agency where she was given a sponsor to go to Canada. The agenct took care of the processing of her papers and visa. She took
IELTS as it was their requirement and not TOEFL. She passed the exams and now she's been there for 2 years.
It is a five-year contract with her employer. 1 to 2 years to go to a university sponsored by the employer to study before taking licensure examinations. It is true that it is a long process and she had to go through a lot of examinations, paper-based as well as oral exams. Last examination she took was like case study. It consists of 20 cases, you need to talk with patients, the patients will tell you what there illneses and what medications are they taking. You have to counsel the patients on their medications. I think it was really hard but good thing is she made it.
I just wanted to share the experience so you might know as well if you like to pursue on being a pharmacist in Canada.
Thanks and God Bless!
