Urgent help needed: FPGEC denied after passing FPGEE and iBT!

Hello Everyone,

I'm writing this letter for help. Today I revceived a letter from NABP stating that my BS in Pharmacy curriculum is not similiar to US Pharmacy students cirriculum, I am ineligible for the FPGEC certification and my file will be closed, a refund of examination fee will be sent out. This is so RIDICULOUS!

I received this letter after I have passed FPGEE and TOFEL iBT! If they committee think my cirriculum does not fit for FPGEC application, why they accepted my application and allowed me sit for the FPGEE at the beginning? After putting so much efforts, time and money, I was told that I am not qualified for the certification because of my BS pharmacy curriculum? I have checked the FPGEE bulletin, there are two situations that the application files will be closed: 1. an applicant is absent on the day of FPGEE and fails to cancel the registration within the time period allowed; 2. an applicant failed to submit supporting documents on time. Either of these situation applys to me. I have fulfilled all the requirements and DO BELIEVE that I AM ELIGIBLE for FPGEC Certification!

From now on, how can we trust the decision from NABP? One day, they accept you to sit for FPGEE, couple years later, after you tried so hard to clear the exams, they tell you that you are not qualified for the program? This is wrong and I do need to appeal!

I am wondering if there's anyone has similar experience or advice? This could happen to any foreign pharmacy student. We need to protect ourselves.

Thank you very much for your help!
