I just saw a Private Message (from moderator '
wasleys') informing me about a certain Textese violation, penalizing me with one infraction point.
It said, "We found something in your post that rubs us the wrong way (call us crazy, but we like meaningful, intelligent posts):

Though this does seem to be a bit over-the-top for having used an "U" in place of "you"
, and it indeed feel quite a bit annoying at first, I am not posting to complain.
In fact, I am writing-in to congratulate and thank you; when I thought about it calmly, I realised that it's a great rule--it goes a long way.
