Dear American applicants,

Please excuse me for my curiosity.But I was wondering how large the fraction of US applicants was who could apply without paying the application fee.The websites of all the universities contain a long list of categories(I don't know what they mean) of people who can apply without paying the fee.If I were in one of the categories,I would certainly have applied to at least 30 universities,perhaps.
