Certainly, for me, it would be a decision between USC and UF, and I would probably go with USC for the reasons stated above. The difference in tuition doesn't seem much, anyway, so the 12k scholarship seems to be the only real savings in addition to lower living expenses.
The location of UF certainly sucks. You are in a swamp in the middle of nowhere. Google, Yahoo, etc. are so far away that you can become uninspired.
