Thanks guys for your help. I just want now to ignore the fact the CMU is more expensive than Purdue. I just want to compare my last two points:

1) CMU's master is a single year master.
2) CMU's master is a professional master and I don't know its future from academic prospectives (what if I want to apply for a PhD at MIT or Stanford next year)?

Can anyone help me in that?
