what program do you plan to pursue your graduate studies in? If you plan for CS, then taking GRE CS is better.
Remember, it will only make a difference if you score good.
There are universities ranked #30 later, which may accept you for a slightly lower GPA. IIT does this. (Illinois Institute of Technology)
