No. I'm sure the program is good but I've never seen anyone make a good case for the ROI of tuition plus living expenses (over 90k combined, I am told). As you suggest, the ROI would have to be even greater in your case because of the opportunity cost of losing a salary and additional work experience. For comparison, it would be at least 50% less expensive to get an online MBA:
University of Florida MBA Programs ($36,000 - $41,000 for all courses; 1 and 2-year options)
(And, depending on your career goals, getting an MBA may be a better career move, anyway, combined with existing/future technical certifications.)
Another example (again, considering living expenses) is that the CMU MISM program is at least 8 times more expensive than this online MIS degree that has a thesis option:
Department of Management Information Systems (MIS @ University of Illinois, Springfield; $11k total)
Personally, I would feel better about the CMU MISM program if there were more rejections:

You may want to check the
profiles Edulix to see if there is any info there about who is being rejected/accepted.

If you are looking for a brand name university and/or interested in distance learning, you may also want to consider the ALM at Harvard with a concentration in information management systems, which requires one course be taken at Harvard during the summer (8 weeks) or Fall/Spring (16 weeks) with the remaining 11 courses being taken online:

Most of the online Harvard graduate courses are $1700, which makes it the most affordable Ivy distance learning program. (At least some of the Harvard Extension courses like the one on Oracle administration are more intense than other online MIS/IT/IS courses, so the ALM may take longer to complete than other part-time MS degrees.)
