Dear,

Admits depends on your profile. Required scores are dependent on rest of the profile too. You say your acads are low. How low??

Some Earthlings. consider 2 gpa as LOW. some 3.4 as LOW!! How low??

Project they matter more than GPA and GRE. Good research projects can get you everywhere.

Quality publcations can get you everywhere too!!

So, it depends on overall profile. I'll advise you to post your profile, so that we can give you SPECIFIC advise which will help you make your profile better rather than those general philosopher stuff which won't help you at all ( General stuff doesn't help ANYONE, it's a FACT ).
