UCI does seem the logical choice and its CS program is very good, but the biggest problem is its cost. The tuition fee is $26K/yr. I enquired with a couple of MS students at UCI. These are their views

aid for MS students is rare, even for the whole 2 yrs
inspite of its location, internship/job scene is not very good

All these factors are making me consider NCSU.
