This implies you all need to unite, act and speak under one voice as an association (IPharm -US). No single person can succesfully manage to end this kind of discrimination.

Kaiser Permanente's Diversity Statement states "At Kaiser Permanente, we value the rich diversity of our organization and aspire always to demonstrate respect for the uniqueness of each individual. We encourage each contribution to the establishment of an open, inclusive environment that supports and empowers our employees." What you have heard in SoCal is contrary to what is claimed on Kaiser's diversity statement.

You may wish to contact the chairman of the Kaiser Permanente National Diversity Council and ask for explanation why their policy statement is not practical... His details are available on the link I'm going to provide you. https://newsmedia.kaiserpermanente.o...scopeland.html

You may also seek assistance of Kaiser's Senior vice president, Brand Strategy, Communications and Public Relations. Click here for more details https://newsmedia.kaiserpermanente.o...gelofgren.html

As I have stated before, if you really want to overcome obstacles you are facing as overseas trained pharmacists, you need to strengthen IPharm-US and act as a group, not individually. If we had a strong organization, our leaders would have easily consulted the Kaiser's leadership and come up with a logical or sensible solution. It is much easier to work on issues of this nature at the association level.

The good thing about Kaiser Permanente is it is a non-profit organization... This implies that Kaiser is not affected by the H1-B Cap... If we succeed on this, we will open the door for many overseas pharmacists... Good point huh?

Act now, join IPharm-US and make your voice heard. Subscription is free at the moment. It won't be forever free for sure.
