It's quite hard to say which category I fall in. Yes, I want to go into business, but I could start with a bachelors degree, work for a year and get a master afterwards (doesn't really matter which subject - at least not to the company (Europe)). On the other hand I'm thinking about doinf a PhD eventually. I'm not really a weak candidate, well maybe. I'm from an Ivy-equivalent undergrad institution, great marks (we don't have GPAs) and great recommendations. But no research experience. It's jsut not done here at undergrad level (UK). Which obviously minimises my chance...and, honestly, I don't even know whether I'd like research in economics, I've never done it. I was hoping to figure that one out during a master.
