You can give GMAT Prep 1 & 2 before prep to see where do you stand and what exactly are the areas on which you need to work on.
Do all the prep for whatever duration you have planned.
Reinstall the software and give GMAT Prep 1 & 2 at the end of your prep (you will get most the questions different and by this time you would have forgotten the old questions)
End your prep with GMAT Prep 2 and do not take any test after it apart from actual GMAT. That is it.
