Take the class with another professor though I dont think it is necessary if you can explain well in your
SOP as to the grading system of this particular class.
Why bother to take it again with the same professor? Remind him that you are not entering into Math Competition or you dont have the IQ of Einstein. U are simply trying to gear up for the math requirement in Econ Phd program.
