I am strongly considering both schools. By most accounts, Wash U is the better school academically. I have received a half-tuition scholarship at GW but no scholarship at Wash U. So how much better is Wash U than GWU? Is it worth (roughly) $25,000 more in tuition per year?

I am looking to go into finance (possibly investments or microfinance), but I am unsure exactly what I want to do. I know after working a few more years I would like to get a Ph.D. at the best school possible. Any input would be a great help.
