I bought some of the official Gmat paper tests (link for these tests at bottom of post).
I am somewhat confused about how to figure my score. For example, I just finished Test 48.
For the Verbal, I got:
Correct: 44
Incorrect: 10
No answer: 2
For the Quant, I got:
Correct: 46
Incorrect: 5
No Answer: 1
Total:
Correct: 90
Incorrect: 15
No answer: 3
Maybe it's just me, but the 'Scoring Information' section on page 32 is confusing.
I believe my corrected Raw Score for V is (44-10/4)+.5=
42, which I believe translates into a Scaled Score of
38 (according to page 30).
For Q, my #s are (46-5/4)+.5=
45, which I believe translates to a Q Scaled score of
46.
Now do I add the scaled score of 38+46=84, which looks like a 670??
Or do I take my total #s (90-15/4)+.5=86, which looks like a 680??
I really am confused here - has anyone figured this out yet?
Thanks in advance...
