Just a comment on the ranking - isn't there a flaw in the rankings if a good university hires many of its phd graduates? If school X is considered good and it hires many of its graduates, it will rise in the rankings as it technically placed many of its graduates in a good school. Could this explain why ANU is ranked higher in the placement rankings as it has many of its econs grads?
Also, does anyone know anything about adelaide Uni though? I note that it is not a uni that is ranked high in most rankings. But its strength seems to be in int'l econs which I am interested in.
