Yes, it was a tough decision. I think overall OSU is better, their corporate finance program is much stronger.
However, I knew I wanted to do something empirical asset pricing related, and I think the two schools are of pretty similar quality in that area. Jay and Jegadeesh are both great researchers and Jay, in particular, has had a lot of success placing students (e.g. Jonathan Lewellen). Since I thought my placement potential was pretty similar at both schools, non-academic factors made me lean towards Emory. I liked the city of Atlanta more than Columbus and especially like the warm weather. I liked their campus and the PhD facilities and the stipend was also a bit more generous.
