Thanks these are great tips. furthermore, speed reading is important but only if you already know how to speed read. it takes time to learn how to speed read and comprehend at the same time, so if you read anywhere between 350wpm and 400wpm you should be fine, just work on the other details. for the above strategy, i think, its better to read the lines of every paragraph as suggested above, but not read the whole passage, most of them are dull and you may lose valuable time reading the whole passage something that you will do anyway as you go through the question, so whats the point of reading it twice. its better to get the gist of it by reading the headlines, then as you answer the questions, go for the details, this works well for general and specific questions. overall the tips are very good.
