I couldn't say for sure which schools require it for admission. Cornell maybe? Keep in mind that the GRE Subject tests award large amounts of undergrad credit at three schools in the U.S., and that there may have been several people at your exam using it for credit-by-examination. I was awarded 30 undergrad credits from Excelsior College for passing the GRE Psychology subject exam above the 80th percentile.
Interestingly, when I took the exam this past Saturday, there were only two of us there for the Literature in English test. Everyone else was there for Biology, Mathematics, and Comp. Sci.
