I just took and canceled my first GRE today... I totally aced the AWA and verbal sections, but I blanked in the math. I was so concerned about the importance of the first 10 questions I took way too much time on them. And as I look back, I blanked on really relatively simple questions, which I basically panicked about because I didn't read them right. Long story short, I came to have 5 minutes left for the last 9 questions, although I'm pretty sure the difficulty level was high at that point, and just cancelled. I'd rather work on my timing and nerves for next time than have to deal with a potential 700 or 600 something for 5 years on my cv....plan on taking it again in June asap.
