No more shortages in the pharmacy profession, infact walgreens are laying off pharmacists and technicians. A lot of qualified international pharmacists are looking for intern positions for months and months, and many of them are permenant residents (Green card holders). This is the reality Knok, not what has been quoted in these articles. Most of these article were forcasting and projecting the future of the pharmacy profession based on shortages existed few years ago. Do you know that 10 years ago there were about 75 pharmacy schools nationwide, and by 2010 we going to have more than 100 schools. This is the sad reality, the job market here in America will be so saturated for pharmacists, and soon a lot of us will have to settle for any job thrown at us.
