Hey Pete,
First of all your verbal score was kick ***. So that is big plus for you with regards to keeping your nerve while taking the test.
Regarding Quant, try the approach that first 10 questions are bound to be tough and try and get maximum correct out of them.
You can have a rough time-division table such as 25 mins for first 10 problems, 20 for next 10, 15 for next 10 and 15 for last 7 problems. Try and stick to the time allocation so that you could pace yourself thru out the test and not rush up only at the end.
Also, try setting up goals in smaller steps. Taking one thing at a time ... that may include improvisation in Data Sufficiency problems or % problems, or arithmatic problems.
Either do a detailed analysis of the mistakes you make in Quant yourself or get someone to have a look at the mistakes you are making over n over again in your Quant, so as to identify areas which need a lot of work and which are fine. This would not only give you confidence but also provide you with some sort of direction as where to head with your preps.
Good luck Pal. Hope it helps.
