You are not alone here and I understand. This is what I found helpful:
a. Read and pay attention to keywords, underline words that you think are important. The act of underlining or making notes makes you think and focus. Dont spend too much time in digesting the meaning of sentences where you get stuck.
b. Attempt questions that refer a line numbers first. This way you can go back to the precise location in the passage and read that more carefully.
c. Answer the first few questions first. They are usually easier.
