Hi eagle uk, I also can't wait for Fall 2010 since I didn't make it for the Fall '09 program. I've decided to apply for an MSc though, since it seems getting into a PhD direct is very, very competitive.
. And don't worry about it, Im sure there's an engineering program which is just right for you that awaits you in fall '10.
