LOL! this is <drum-rollllllllllllllllllllll>

NOT TRUE!!!!

Just because us Indians do extremely well on the GMAT doesn't mean they make it tougher specifically for us. By that reasoning, they should make it extremely easy for people in Greenland no?? And considering you can give the GMAT anywhere in the world, why should the GMAC discriminate against a specific region??

The GMAC states very clearly that the marks you score on the test are, and i quote
Quote:
Your score is determined by:

the number of questions you answer,
whether you answer the questions correctly or incorrectly, and
the level of difficulty and other statistical characteristics of each question.

The questions in an adaptive test are weighted according to their difficulty and other statistical properties
Test Structure and Overview

Note that the GMAT is LIVE, meaning an Internet connection is required. The GMAT Question bank is drawn from on-the-go, not from a pre-determined source.

Finally, if it were really true, don't you think that the percentile score should also change? Yet scores are consistent world-wide.

Its sad that people who don't study enough for the GMAT then go out and tell everybody else that the GMAT is tougher in India. It is NOT!! so stop believing in that.
