Given the kind nature of fellow TMians, a gift wud be absolutely unncessary, but always an acknowledgement of their good posts would be a huge boost. I would suggest some privilege within TM(like restricted avatars, that strawberry, fish icon kinda thing etc..)rather than monetary incentives would be a fitting gift for good posters.
