I talked to the ACT director in my area yesterday. The score should be available by the end of this week. Good Luck.![]()

Facts:
Be sure to pass all sections of TOEFL iBT (R21, L18, S26*,W24) before applying for FPGEE. Thousands of candidates passed FPGEE but could not achieve TOEFL requirement after several attempts. Percent passing rate on the speaking section is only 11 percent. (ETS data, p. 6)
The average score on the speaking section of the US candidates and candidates from English speaking countries is 22 (ETS data, p. 9-10.)

Ohhhh.
Thanks.![]()
So... anyone got their scores back yet? (I know the ACT part of this forum seems to be dead, lol.![]()

)
Actually, most schools require ACT more than SAT. Why do people keep quiet from ACt forum? Or is that because ACT is not a tricky test?
I have one more silly question. Are both ACT and SAT administered by College Board? Are they the same company that operate the two competitive tests? I am confused. It seems that ACT and SAT are competitors. Why are they administered by the same company?![]()
Thank you for any reply.

The SAT is administered by College Board, but the ACT isn't. It's by.. uhmm... ACT? lol. Not sure.
SAT is mostly taken by those in the East and West states, and ACT by those in the middle states (like Illinois). Alot of people take both though to maximize their chances, 'cause even if you do badly on one, you may still do well for the other. And most colleges accept either one![]()
Jess,
Thank you. You are right. I got mixed up about Collegeboard for SAT Why don't they use ETS but College Board? What are College Board and ETS related? Can we just check score online?

Yup!, thanks![]()
My darn score still isn't available though!! It seems that they're posting the scores in batches. .![]()
ETS designs and makes the test while Collegeboard markets the test. The Collegeboard is the largest customer of ETS. Tests such as the GRE are solely ETS tests.Originally Posted by knok
