My school does the ACT, not the SAT

Will colleges accept this? Or should I take the SAT as well?

I'm not sure what you mean by your school 'does' the ACT; you should register for the ACT or the SAT yourself. If you're saying that your school offers the ACT but doesn't offer the SAT, you're still free to take the SAT.

The SAT is the most common admissions test, so you very well may have to take it.

Most schools will accept ACT with writing, but to be safe you should take the SAT as well.
I personally thought that the ACT was a tad bit easier, however I will have to wait until Nov. 28 to compare it with my SAT score.
