PhD in Economics/Finance

Dear All,
I have already applied for PhD programs at some universities, but still waiting for the outcome!

I would be grateful if you advise me whether my profile is good for PhD application in Economics/Finance or not. Note that I am not targeting the Top 10 or 30 or even 50! just a good university with good reputation in Europe (mainly in Germany). I would have applied for a local program, but there is none! can you imagine that?

Degrees:
Master in Finance, University of Wollongong (Australia, 2007), GA: 85 -Course Work, No Thesis
Bachelor in Finance, One American University in Lebanon, GPA: 87- Senior Project: Feasibility Study for a new business!

I couldn't get better scores because I had to work during my study to afford living! Do you think I can get a scholarship so that I can totally focus on my studying and research to give out the best of my abilities?

I have wide experience in accounting and finance (local and foreign), but not sure if it will be useful for such application!

Note: Just now, while I am writing this post, I got job offer! I really don't know whether I should continue pursuing my dream in the research field or stop here for now!
