Hi,

I am from India and am going for CS PhD this coming Fall. However I was wondering if I could get a transfer from the university I am admitted to, to some other university in US because of some personal reasons. Can it indeed be possible? What are the factors that are considered in case such a transfer is considered at all? How long, as a mimimum, does it require for someone to get a transfer after getting the admission?

I just was accepted to U of Chicago and Kellogg, for fall 2009 and am having a very difficult time deciding which to attend. I only have until Friday! Any advice is greatly appreciated.
