There is something definately wrong with thier database.
My application status is "Pending Departmental Recommendation" since december. But, I got an email 10 days back from the ECE dept that I have been recommended for admission.

Waiting for a mail from the Graduate school now.

Dunno much about the aid scene yet but it is the only admit i hav got so far.

I joined their egroup on yahoo and came across a lot of FAQs asked to seniors already there. The view is universal: The Aid scene sucks pretty much.

Hopefully it should improve but dont count on it
