Are these all CS rejects?
Good luck to all of you in the future, many ADMITS to come for you all.
I think the UCB EE dept just likes to delay the pain![]()

Is there anyone else who has yet to hear from Berkeley EE?
Still no word...
I applied to Berkeley EECS, but more for the CS side of it. I have not heard anything from them. I did have to call the department at one point to make a minor correction, and I asked the secretary how notices are sent out. She seemed reluctant to give out real info, but she seemed to say they went out a various times until March 15 (or the end of March, can't remember for sure.) Like I said, she seemed quick to try to get off the phone so I really don't know any more than that...I wish I did.
Does anyone know if they handle EE and CS applications separately in any way? I though I was applying from the CS point of view, but I can't seem to recall at this point if there was anything in the application to indicate that. Anyone know how schools usually handle this?
When selecting your desired program in your application form, you could indicate either "Computer Science" or "EE & Computer Science", so I guess this would be how applicants are split.Originally Posted by abgoldberg
Ah yes, now I remember that. So I selected "Computer Science" there and have no yet heard anything. If anyway has already heard from Berkeley, can you post which of the two programs you applied to? That would be awesome.Originally Posted by cb23
I applied to the EE dept, and was accepted.
FYI, Berkeley CS Visit day is Mar 13 & 14
