    Thumbs up Ucb Gsr

    Hi
I got a Graduate Student Research position at Univ of California, Berkeley. I had applied for MS in the "Intelligent Transportation Systems"(ITS) - field (civil engr). The package includes tution-fee waiver and a stipend of arnd $20k/year.
I have also got admits for MEng in ITS from Cornell (fee waiver), MS in computer-aided engineering(CAE) from CMU (have to face a phone interview before i finally get the RA so aid is 90% confirmed), MS in CAE from NCSU (RA $1800/mnth), MEng in CAE from Univ of S. California (Admit only , has any1 got aid from this college ever?)
I had also applied for MS to MIT(My Dream), UIUC, GTech, Purdue, Univ of Texas at Austin and JHU in fields of Information Technology, Computer Aided Engg & Intelligent transpo sys. I havent recieved any news from them yet.

    Hi

First of all, congrats on all thy admit. However, did you hear anything from UIUC?
Have they started declaring admission decision for MS applicants?

I am very mad at people that characterize as stupid/smart other persons/themselves based solely on a stupid and meaningless GRE score. Smartness/Stupidness cannot be judged until you get to know each person in depth, and certainly it cannot be measured by test scores. Other factors, such as organization, perseverence, modesty, responsiveness, honesty, effort, kindness, sincereness, and overall spirit are by far more important in evaluating one's intelligence!

No, I am not from IIT Delhi. I am from IIT Kharagpur. I havent heard anything from UIUC friend.
My detailed profile is available at www.geocities.com/atul_narayan just incase you are interested. Has anyone heard from MIT yet? are their MS decisions out?
Please keep posted as the decisions come in . Thank You
