Today, I received an e-mail, the package, since I`m European, will be at my doorstep about next tuesday. It should contain I-20. Ask ahwig! Only after a few h, I`m beginning to fully realize the advantages of this offer. Oh, boy! That`ll make the my decision only harder...... How to settle down for the most appropriate option. Re: Florida, Gainesville!
Hi Guys,
My first ever post at TM. Anyways the important thing is that even I have gotten admit to UFL CISE for MS in CS for fall 2005 with a partial aid offer. At the same time I also have UMBC CS admit for MS with full aid. Now I would prefer going to UFL because of its rankings. But I want some insight into the CISE dept from present gators. Is the research good at UFL CISE ? Also what is the job scene at CISE? I know Microsoft and Amazon come and pick u guys up but what about others ? What about summer internships? Is it easier to find or harder as there are not much s/w industry presence in florida. Also can you describe in one sentence "life at UFL". Hoping for anyone who wants to take a go at this. Congrats to all who got an admit. -Ajay |

Well life in Ufl in one sentence "Apartment department advisor budvisor" you'll have lot of fun once you come here, fall season starts with gator football. lots of activities to do, if you like cricket we play cricket. Since you've got full aid in UMBC, you must be in a great fix. Anyways if you do decide on UF, I'm sure You'll have fun. Hope it helps Pankaj |

Re: Florida, Gainesville!
Hi all
I have got an admit for MS from CISE dept for Fall 2005 at University of Florida at Gainesville. I have also got a partial tuition fee waiver. It is nice to see a lot of activity going on here. Can anybody help me regarding the details of the tuition fees. I would like to know how the fees is to be paid - per semester or per credit hour. Congratulations to everyone who are going to UFL for Fall 2005. Go Gators Go. Krishna Chaitanya. |
