Today i got my unofficial mail from Graduate coordinator of ME dept. of UIUC stating that I am admitted at UIUC !!!!!!!!!
 I had applied for a MS leading to Phd in Mechanical Engg.. For last couple of week i was tensed like hell, and how i am in heaven.......... |

Congratulations!!! It's a real BIIIG admit
 .BTW: did u get any funding offers? has any prof contacted you or have u contacted with any? I applied there for MS in EE, so far I haven't got any news, although they said they'd let me know by early March. |

Thanks a lot Ferrari and Jerrymouse.. Still i am in ebullient mind. Can't concentrate to my work.
Jerrymouse: Yes, a professor contacted me and told me i was admitted with financial aid. But in the mail from graduate co-ordinator there is no mention about it saying details are in postal mail. Hopefully it will be there. Ferrari: I know your state. I had been there ( offcourse every one is there!). I hope and wish you will get your top uni. soon. |

my area of interest is on mechanics of solids in micro or nano level.(not going to petty details here
)As i got the mail from graduate office it didn't mention anything about it saying details are in postal mail. I am eager to see the mail. Hopefully it isn't a snail mail. Thanks for congratulations everyone. Hopefull you all get your desired university. |
